ARE CHIROPRACTORS SIMILAR TO TIT-TARS & BONE SETTLERS?

Becoming a chiropractor requires at least 4 to 5 years of bachelor's  or master's degree program. Chiropractors working in Malaysia are licensed under the Association of Chiropractic, Malaysia (ACM) of Ministry of Health (MOH) under the division of the Traditional & Complementary Medicine of Malaysia (TCM).

CAN CHIROPRACTIC CURE MY MUSCULOSKELETAL PROBLEM(S)?

Speaking of cure, then the answer is NO. But chiropractic can help to SOLVE your problems. Our body is made to heal on its own. Chiropractic treatment aids in relieving pain and discomfort by targeting the root of the problem, reducing physical stress of the joints, thus supporting the bodily system to function more efficiently in recovery.

WILL MY PAIN BE GONE WITH ONE ADJUSTMENT VISIT?

Depending on your condition, some people may come in with acute problems, some may be chronic and has lasted for more than a decade. Different individuals respond differently with chiropractic adjustment. Pain and discomfort may subside/resolve after one visit. However, this may be short term as the individual still practices his/her daily activities without rectifying the poor daily habits and activities. Hence, pain arises again a few days later. During our treatment in THE CHIRO WAY, our chiropractor will devise your personalized exercise regimen and advise you to be compliant with your exercises at home. With the 50/50 effort shared between the practitioner and the patient, this would result in a long term desired outcome.

WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?

Every new patient is required to go through a consultation session which will last about 40 minutes to 1 hour before getting treated. This procedure is important to eliminate any possibilities of unwanted health risks. Do contact us to schedule a slot in advance to ensure our chiropractor has sufficient time to go through your assessment. If you have any health reports or X-ray/MRI imaging files with you, please bring them along too.

DO YOU MANAGE PROBLEMS OTHER THAN THE SPINE?

YES, Chiropractors not only manage spine problems, but we are also trained to perform adjustments on the upper and lower extremities (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, ankle, foot bones etc.) as well as the TMJ (jaw joint). These adjustments are done when deemed necessary, or if there is any history of injury at any of these parts that may have led to pain, dysfunction and structural misalignment thereafter.
